Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Soroti is a faith community dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and nurturing people in the Catholic faith. Rooted in prayer, love, service, and fellowship, our parish provides a welcoming spiritual home where individuals and families can grow closer to God and to one another.

Through the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the Sacraments, prayer, catechesis, and Christian fellowship, we seek to strengthen the faith of our parishioners and encourage them to live out the teachings of Christ in their daily lives.

It’s mission extends beyond worship. It is committed to serving the wider community through charity, education, youth formation, family ministry, outreach to those in need, and support for vulnerable members of society. It believe that every person is created in the image and likeness of God and deserves dignity, compassion, and respect.

As a parish family, it welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds to participate actively in the life of the Church. It particularly encourages children, young people, families, and community groups to discover their gifts and use them in the service of God and others.

Guided by the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Conception, it strives to become a community of faith, hope, and love—one that witnesses to Christ and contributes positively to the spiritual and social development of Soroti and the surrounding communities.
